Fundraising Ideas

When raising money, people will say, I'm raising money for Cancer Research UK, instead you should be saying, 'I'm helping to save lives', because that is what we are doing, this is real money that is going to save real lives! YOU are making a difference! EVERY pound makes a difference in the fight against cancer – ANYTHING you are able to raise will be greatly appreciated! If you can't raise funds or get sponsors for any reasons, please don't worry, we would be extremely grateful for any donations on the night, whatever the amount!

Online Fundraising

JUSTGIVING pages will be open soon. To start your fundraising today download a sponsor form.

Sponsor Sheet

Print off a sponsor sheet and collect donations from family, friends and work colleagues. Please encourage them to fill out their full name, address and postcode to claim GIFT AID.

Ask your employers if they can MATCH what you raise!

Group Fundraising

Are you taking part with a group of friends, family or work colleagues?! Then why not think about doing something different and hold a joint fundraiser to raise funds!

Ideas

  • Ask work to hold a dress down day to help your fundraising efforts and encourage all employees to pay £1
  • Invite friends round for a meal / pamper evening / cheese and wine night and ask for donations
  • Why not hold a fun social evening such as a race night, a bingo night, quiz night or disco
  • Have a bag pack in a local supermarket
  • Get a prize donated and sell off squares for £1
  • Sell homebakes / toffee to family and friends and at work
